This is a 9 hour Association Montessori International (AMI) course designed specifically for parents and carers. AMI Trainer, Heidi Philippart, considers how parents and carers can foster a home environment that supports the natural development of the child from the ages 0 to 3 and supports the child to reach their full potential.  

Heidi explores:

·      How Montessori theory helps us gain a deeper understanding of the young child

·      How we can best support the natural growth of independence in the home

·      How the home environment nurtures the child’s development

The content of this workshop will be recorded for those who are unable to join us for the live online sessions. Links to the recordings will be made available after each session and will be accessible to view for two weeks following.

This is an Association Montessori International (AMI) certificate course, also known as AMI Parent Engagement Workshop, participants with 90%  participation will receive an AMI certificate. Participants must have their camera on and be visible to be considered in attendance.

The Certificate is awarded by the Association Montessori Internationale and does not form part of the Australian Qualifications Framework.
