3 to 6 Orientation Course (formally known as Assistant Certificate)
SMTC are pleased to be able to offer the AMI 3 to 6 Orientation course. The name change more accurately reflects the nature of the course which aims to provide participants with an orientation to Montessori theory and practice for different age groups.
In the current Covid-19 Pandemic and the challenges this brings we are also pleased to be able to deliver this course online with the approval of AMI.
If you are working at a centre or at home with children and looking for ways you can support children aged between 3 to 6 this may be the course you are looking for. The “face to face” aspects facilitating connection are still present with synchronous (in real time) online components as well as times for you to complete tasks independently.
Discussions of theory, opportunities to ask questions, the demonstration and practice of some practical techniques of how to work with children and the creation of some materials you can use, are all incorporated in this course.
Number will be limited to allow participants to fully engage in all aspects and have discussion time with the trainers.
