Working With Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent is a requirement for people who work or volunteer in child-related work in Australia and other parts of the world.
In Australia it generally involves a national criminal history check and a review of findings of workplace misconduct. There is no single national framework setting out the requirements for obtaining a Working With Children Check/Blue Card.
Students must provide the relevant check details on this form or via email for the jurisdiction in which they reside prior to course commencement. Further, if a student is to undertake an observation or teaching practice in another State, Territory or country, they must also obtain the relevant check in that jurisdiction before commencing the observation or teaching practice.
