This is a 9 hour Association Montessori International (AMI) course designed specifically for parents and carers. AMI Trainer, Heidi Philippart, considers how parents and carers can foster a home environment that supports the natural development of the child from the ages 0 to 3 and supports the child to reach their full potential.

Heidi explores:

  • an introduction to essential Montessori principles of infant development
  • key skills we need to care for babies and small children
  • how to decide if development is ‘on track’ and what we can do if we are worried
  • common obstacles that can be removed to support a child to develop to their full potential

There are two ways in which you can gain access to the sessions for this workshop;

  1. Attend the live, online sessions at the scheduled times for a minimum of 90% of the time and you will receive an AMI certificate of attendance.
  2. View the recordings from the sessions within two weeks of the scheduled session, these participants will not receive a certificate.

Whichever option you choose, participants will be given access to the recordings for 2 weeks following each session. Those who attended the sessions in person will also have access to the recordings along with those who choose not to attend.
